Skagway School Programs

 

This year for our 2010 Smithsonian Trip our students will be heading to Puerto Rico for a week. We are attempting to raise somewhere near 20,000 dollars to accomodate our students funds. After exstensive fundraising with:

-Consessions for after school activites like sports and plays

-Making Meals for Don Hather Basketball Games

-T-shirt sales for Volleyball Regionals, Don Hather Tourney, and Super Panther Shirts

-Friday Night Burger Feeds

-July 4th Burger Stand

-Consessions for Softball

-Bike Raffle

~ And last to come is our biggest one yet. Will be feeding the Buck Wheat Ski Classic.

we have raised enough that each shall only pay $3,400 dollars and left over money shall be disspersed evenly.

 

For our Puerto Rico trip we have 20 students 9-12 grade with our three selected supervising parents will be Rick Ackerman, Joanne Korsmo, and Cory Thole. Will be leaving Skagway to San Jose on the 11th of April and will be returning on the 26th. Apon our arrival in Puerto Rico we will be joined by 9 people from New York City.
