Student Transportation
A district may, with approval of the commissioner, establish agreements with parents to provide reimbursement for transporting their children in grades 1-12 to school. The following limitations apply:

1. The student's residence must be more than one and one half miles from school;
2. Reimbursements must be based on actual miles traveled round-trip, and not the number of students transported; and
3. The per mile rate established by the district is ($0.35) thirty-five cents.
