Mr. Dahill
This is Mr Dahill's twelfth year of teaching. He taught Physics/AP Physics at Coronado High and Mira Mesa High in San Diego, California from 2000-2008, and 6th grade Earth Science/7th grade Life Science at Coronado Middle School 2008-2011.
He earned his teaching credential from National University (in San Diego) and his B.S. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1987 (Anno Domini.)
Besides being a teacher, he's been a janitor, cashier in a Food Coop, a B-52 Navigator in the Air Force, a stockbroker for a tiny La Jolla firm and a Subway Sandwich artist extraordinaire.
Although he's spent most of his life in Coronado, California, he's also lived in Florida, Sicily, Northern California, New England, Belgium, and the Republic of Texas.
He raced bicycles for twenty five years and particularly enjoyed racing in Belgium, and on the track. Slamming his body into the ground at high speed was not a favorite but definitely a frequent part of the sport.
Since stopping racing in 2006 he has spent months backpacking solo. SoCal's deserts, the Sierras and Alaska's interior are favorite spots.
