High School Activities

Skagway School District believes that extracurricular activities are necessary and extremely beneficial to help our students mature into adults. These activities provide multiple character building aspects including setting and striving for goals, as well as dealing with complex emotions like frustration, exhilaration, and humility. Activities also prepare students for life as productive members of society by exposing them to other cultures and ways of life, increasing self-esteem, and developing social skills. Our coaches and extra duty supervisors are a vital part of our school community because we expect them to foster positive growth in each of their team members.

We proudly offer the following activities for High School:

Cross-Country, Music, Student Council, Track, Volleyball, Wrestling, DDF, Yearbook, Boys Basketball, and Girls Basketball.

Check out the Activities Page for more information.
